John,
   Why the 700R4???? I have the 4L60E in my S-10 its a fairly crappy transmission IMHO! I've driven Jeeps with the AW4 and it is a superior transmission in gear spacing and shifting etc; Again IMHO! I'd suggest you get a 2WD 91-96 4.0L and AW4 and drop the whole thing into the Javelin and don't look back!
It would save you the costs of the Crank Sensor relocater and the 700R4! Plus the AW4 will run 200,000 miles easy with minimal care.
Drive a Cherokee with one in it check it out.
