To A.J.: No offense taken--I can't even remember what it was that I wrote that got on your bad side. Apparently something you said struck a chord or else I wouldn't have responded that way. But, hopefully that's all water under the bridge--we're adults and entitled to our own opinions--however flawed they may be. I apologize if I offended *you* originally. Mea culpa. To the general list: Regarding Randy Guynn---the man is obviously a wealth of knowledge and probably has a lot to contribute to the hobby. There were posts he made that I enjoyed reading because I was able to take away something useful. On the other hand, it's unfortunate that the majority of Randy's posts were those in which he felt compelled to be rather strident about his viewpoint. I hated to see these "loud" posts, because not only were they difficult to read and follow due to his excessive usage of capital letters, but because Randy has the talent of absolutely, completely running a point into the ground! Once a point is made, let it stand on its own merits. Of course it might not hurt to periodically restate an opinion or viewpoint, but while doing so *please* don't make me feel as if you're standing in my face shouting at me---that's *exactly* how I felt with most of Randy's posts. So, while I admit I'll miss Randy's informative posts, I won't miss his "loud" posts.
