{FORGED?} Another voice has been silenced

Well, I hope some of you are now happy.  A valuable voice in the AMC hobby community has been silenced on this list.  Why?  For speaking the truth.  He may have been a little abrasive in his approach but I can tell you sometimes this is the only way to get the attention of others.  I know some of you have been upset by his remarks. Some of you have been upset by mine as well.  I find it hard to believe that this attitude continues today.  I guess that some of you are afraid to hear the truth,  some of you are afraid to be exposed, some of you do not want to know the truth and many (as expressed in private emails to me) are afraid to speak the truth for fear that you will be sanctioned as well.  

It has been posted by several to ignore and not read the threads that offend you.  For most, that is happening, but for several, your ideas are the only right ones and it is ok to criticize others and call for their banishment from this list for expressing views that are unpopular and are contrary to yours.

It appears that the AMC hobby in general (not all memebers, mind you) was not ready for the truth to be told and scandals to be exposed in 1980.  It is now very apparent that twenty-five years later much is unchanged. For those of you who are happy with the situations that exist today, despite all that is wrong and being covered up, all I will add is you have what you deserve for an AMC hobby.  It won't be long before those willing to stand up for what is right are all silenced or finally give up.  For those who do care and hope for change, you need to stand up and be counted  (or at least ally yourselves with those who are willing to promote what is good and honest in this hobby; those who do, indeed, have the best wishes of the AMC hobby in general at heart.)  Even if you disagree with the positions I have taken and find fault with how some other outspoken members of this AMC communnity express themselves, please do you self a favor.  As yourself honestly if the AMC hobby !
 as it is now is really the hobby you want.  If it is not, try to get involved in a way that can effect the changes needed to make is a great hobby.  One that you can be proud to be a member of, where you can trust all of your fellow members and one that has the best interests of all members at heart, not just a select few "at the top".  If, on the other hand, you are happy with the way things are and continue to be, please continue to keep you head in the sand.
