So, I have been thinking again about my Eagle Projects. My Kammster is going to be the real offroader with custom (ie, heavier Sq tube) bumpers, brush guard, some panel protection, 258 (with a stroked 4.0 later), T5 trans, 209 TC (2 spd), 3.54 gears, sligth lift and larger tires. Should be pretty fun... The SX4 I am building for my son will be a 258 4 spd with 2 spd 219 TC but basically stock... for now anyway! Do you think with the low range capabilities of the 219 (or maybe 229) that I should leave the stock gearing alone... I believe they are 2.73's? I was going to swipe the 3.54 gears from a 4 cyl SX4, but now that I think about it, since the tires are going to be essentially stock, I bet the low speed capability of the 219 should be sufficient for trail running, mild hillclimbing and the few snows we might have out here. Opinions? Thanks and have a great weekend, Jesse __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
