Re: Wanted Air Deflector & AM FM for 70 Ambassador Wagon

The vertical AM/FM is a much sought after piece! There are no aftermarket radios that would look right. You can mount one under the dash, in the glove box, or have the original converted to AM/FM. There are several companies who advertise in Hemmings who do this. Radio will retain stock look, so it's a guessing game finding a station. Usually have a hidden or unobtrusive switch for AM/FM. They gut the radio and install modern electronics, modifying the tuner to work with the new stuff. It's not cheap though, $369-$375!

I see theres one on Ebay but I don't really need a NOS qulity deflector, just a good used one to help keep this dam California rain off the rear window. I believe all Ambassador, Rebel & Matador wagons used the same deflector.
