The link number you provided to look at the ''waterhose'' oil line 
states that the item has been pulled and is no longer on ebay.

Regardless, if the hose is crappy, simply replace it with a good quality 
hose. Simple as that. As long as the person used the standard sizes for 
the valley pick up lines then any quality piece should bolt right in. If 
they just cobbled whatever they had on hand, then you may need to 
re-drill the block and put in proper fittings.

We make the best quality Valley Oil Line kit on the market. Some people 
will use, or sell anything and call it a valley line kit. I know, I have 
bought some of the JUNK being sold. There is absolutely no oine in the 
AMC hobby selling a better, more versitile Valley Line kit than Us,
