Oil line modification

I am contemplating buying this 390 for my SC/Rambler and have a question
about the oil line modification. When looking at the picture of the
modification, it sure looks like it is made of a garden hose type material.
Would this hold up to the heat of the engine. I have tried to email the
seller but no response yet. This would be a great pickup for me as my family
and I are going out to Vegas in April and I can crate it myself and get it
shipped back to the east coast. Thanks in advance.
