American signal-back up lights

I solved the problem of those funky lights a long time
ago;
Take your housing off the bumpers and pull out the
stock wiring stuff. Drill a 3/4 inch hole in the
housing and use an after market plug in socket. The
small ones come in 3/4 inch variety, any well stocked
parts house will carry them. Re wire the whole thing.
Goop up your lens real good and seal the original
wiring hole shut. I drill a small vent hole for any
water to run out of the housing. Benefits; sealed up
nice, easy to get the bulb in and out, good contacts
as you can run a ground wire as you wire up the thing.....Russ
