wheels and tires, shifter.

OK, I know I brought this up before but now I am ready to get a package
from Summit for my 69 Ambo coupe and want to make sure they will fit
before I order. I am looking at getting the old style Cragar mags with
the fronts being 15X7 running BFG TA 225 60R15 and the rears being 15X8
with 235 60R15. Those wheel wells look like they should hold that much
with 4.5 inch backspacing on the Cragars. The fronts should have a 7"
tread width and the rears should be about 7.3". Does anybody see a
clearence problem? I have new front and rear springs with poly bushing
all around and a Machine rear sway bar. Hopefully it should track pretty
good, but who really knows until the snow melts and the rubber starts to
melt on the pavement. Still have a lot to do and the Hot Rod power tour
keeps getting closer.

I plan on finishing the cradle today to support the body and will finally
strip the remaining suspension off. The entire car will get shot with a
new coat of bittersweet orange later this month, then it is a matter of
reassembly. Sounds easy, hahaha.

One other note, has anyone made a B&M megashifter work on an M12. I
understand the throw on the shifter does not match the throw lenght to
shift the tranny but I figured I could either extend the tranny shift
bracket or attach the cable closer to the fulcrum point depending on the
throw of the shifter.

Thanks for letting me "ramble" on.
