I would buy the car in a heart beat but getting it here is the costly part. I would spend $400.00 on the grille because shipping is a cheaper and logistic's are easier. I run into the same thing. 1969 Ambassador with air tilt consul buckets and cruise. I can't sell the complete car but if parted out would fetch more than the complete car. I know where you are coming from. Bryan > It's not that the parts are worthless, it's just that you can't sell much of anything online unless you post it on ebay. I am experiencing the same thing with a lot of my parts. I have a decent 73 AMX (original Z-code, 401, 4 speed with air) that is pretty much complete except for drive train and front bumper and has very little rust (other than surface rust), that I can't sell to anyone on any AMC site for $650 but I can sell an extra used TicTocTach on ebay for $285 and a 4 spd shift overlay (both of which this car has) for $259. If I part it out I can probably sell the really nice grill (screen and inner grill) for $400+ on ebay. Every time I make a statement like that I get 10 or 15 emails from forum users asking how much I want for the grill assy. Well, I am sorry but if do sell it separate, I won't offer anyone on any of the AMC forums the grill or screen. I will post it on ebay first because I have already offered the entire car to forum users for little more than wha! > t those parts will sell for on ebay.
