So, I was driving in KS and, as I often do on the way to my final destination for the day, I was passing through a small town and decided to drive through the back streets and see what was there. There was a tan, tired looking Pacer Wagon... turns out it was a driver until about three weeks ago when a flat tire and blown muffler took it out of service. Runs, drives, really decent interior and only bubbling up in the rear quarters. Called the fellow and he says they bought a minivan and just did not need the extra car and decided not to get it inspected. He says asking price is $900. I found another Wagon a few weeks ago and haven't gotten a price for it yet... I will be getting a bonus in a few weeks and may need to augment the already too large stable! Looks like I am going to be selling one of my SX4's sooner rather than later! Opinions? Jesse Yeah go for it, variety is the spice of life! I have a lot of fun with my Javelin cause very few young people know what it is when they see it , and some of the old guys always seem to have a story about AMC this or that, and some of the guys just like seeing the old muscle that brings back fond memories. I don't get the look down the nose bit from people like I did with the car back in the late 70s. Almost everyone admires the car and for that matter people seem to admire a fella who manages to keep something in such good condition for all those years. I know a guy lives about 40 miles away who has a Pacer or two and still drives one around regularly or did the last time I saw him. Anyway if you don't spend the money on Pacers you'll probably just have to pay bills with it. Enjoy. Armand
