2 Barrel Carbs

Has anyone switched away from the stock 2 barrel carb on the 304 engine (I
believe it's Motorcraft) to a different brand 2 barrel? If so, did you like
it? What kind was it? Where's a good source to buy it? I'm considering
trying a different one.
