Clear up Part #3.
I said the current location is not a dealership.
This person did at one time have connections with the original AMC local
dealer. 10 years ago someone may well have been at the original
dealership. I am told the property this load of AMC s is now on was
once a school of some sort. I am told this by A.J. of South Texas AMC,
and by Mark Shepherd of South Carolina.
A.J. has not been there but knows of the place. Mark has been there for
Jeep parts. He states he was told they used to have a dealership but it
was closed. They moved the cars and parts to this location. It has been
arond fornearly 20 years in some form. [after closing dealership]
I do not think anyone at all is perpetuating any myths. I believe if
the average guy came across a load of some possible AMC/Jeep vehicles in
a fenced of boarded over building he would automatically think it was a
closed down dealership. I believe then that he would tell his
assumption to others. I know I would.
I don't believe anyone anywhere is lying about any of this. I think
there are some mis-conceptions. To me mis-conception means, You have one
take on facts, I have another, when in all reality, our[each of us]
facts are skewed by what we have taken in about the subject.
Dig all you please and come up with the truth. The phone number I was
given to contact them AFTER 9:00 PM[AT NIGHT] is 919 242 4306 Ask for
Robert Collier [spelling, who knows].
Regards,.
