Dang I missed you guys!!! Especially YOU Gwen....how¹s Little Car? I still got your dash shot as my desktop picture. Can you believe it¹s been 2 years? I joined a computer users list for awhile but not only was I completely bored with their rhetoric....and they weren¹t nearly as much fun as you guys. The last two years has been crazy...the wife decided that after 15 years she didn¹t want to be a wife OR a Mom...so I¹m now raising my 5 year old on my own. He¹s the best....I wouldn¹t trade him for the world. Well...my baby is pretty much done. Total bill (added up over the last 10 years).....drum roll please.....$32k. Yes, yes...I know...I¹m insane! But...she¹s absolutely gorgeous. The final step was the engine....the original 297 is now sitting in my garage...I opted to bump it up to the 327...rebuilt, balanced and blueprinted....hums like a kitten. Side note...if anyone plans on doing this to a Classic 8 with the 297 make sure you rebuild the trans to accommodate the 327 horse power. I¹m also proud to report that I think I got the last retro-kit for the drive shaft on the planet. The vibration is gone and it worked like a charm....but it was reaaaalllly hard to find the kit. I think the thing I¹m most proud of is there¹s not a thing on it that¹s not original 63 Classic 660...everything¹s either NOS or reconditioned from the original or a bone yard. My Dad was blown away....he couldn¹t believe it when he saw it....it looks like the day he drove it off the lot in October of ?63. Anyway, the photos are a little dated...I¹ll be taking the final set this weekend and posting them to the web-site. You can see my baby at: homepage.mac.com/toconnel/PhotoAlbum13.html If you wait ?till Monday...I¹ll have the new shots posted as well. Well....it¹s great to be back. Thanks for having me....I really did miss you crazy people! Tim O¹Connell 1963 Rambler V8 Classic 660 Gilbert, AZ
