Barrett Jackson 69 Champ 500 AMX

Mark and Mike Knapp's 69 Champ 500 AMX just went through the Barrett 
Jackson auto auction for about $58,000 + the 8% buyers fee bringing it to 
almost $63,000.00.  If you have been watching our AMCs lately, you should 
be able to read the writing on the wall.  Collectors are buying these cars 
up and I think within a few years, you will see some of these cars going 
for upwards of $100,000.  2 Corvettes went for over $500,000 for the pair, 
a Dodge Hemi AAR race car went for about $400,000 and a 54 Oldsmobile 
prototype F88 went for a Barrett record $3,000,000.00.
