The issue was caused by a change in the list server's concept of
"removing extraneous header information".  

Apparently the programmers of the software were a bit over-zealous about
it.  

Although I can't make changes to the list server's normal configuration,
problems like this can be sent to me off-list and I'll be happy to look
into the problem.
