I origionally posted this inquiry, have not posted since the "new format" has been contrived, so therfore my ID was not given... May I please start over in this topic?? I now claim to be a "complete idiot" (wife says this all the time actually!!) in regards to bench testing a radio. What are the correct steps in getting a sound out of the box?? Straight power source from a battery?? Ground to where?? Antenna needs a ground?? Any advice/ridicule accepted equally.. Thanks again.. J.
