Re: STROKER engines

John, all the GEN-2 and GEN-3 cranks and rods will interchange. Keep the crank with its respective rods and pistons and you can put any combo together. If you use a 390 or 401 crank in one of the smaller engines you'll have to check clearance between the bottoms of the bores and crank counter weights, most need notching. Other than that get the bores and strokes and do the math! Not trying to be a smart ass here. Very few people have a reson to use odd combos. 360s are easy enough to come by, and most prefer the cubes to building a 304 block with 360 crank. The 390 and 401 cranks are harder to come by, so it gets expensive to use one of those in a 360 or 343 block. I can see using a 360 crank in a 304 for a turbo or blown engine, maybe, as the thicker cylinder walls will make the block a good bit stronger, and the 360 crank will give a few more cubes.
