I just received a couple books on AMC interchange. It lists the corresponding Wagner book part number (at the time). Perhaps this will help some of you. Here is some information that I found in the books regarding the Brakes: 73-76 Bendix Hub and Rotors were equivalent to Wagner #60447. They were on the 74 Ambassador, 75-76 Gremlin and Hornet, 75-76 Pacer, and 74-76 Matador. 77 Bendix Hub and Rotors were equivalent to Wagner #60457. They were on the 77 Hornet, 78 Concord, 77-79 Pacer, 77-78 Gremlin 4, 78 Concord, AMX. 71-76 Kelsey-Hayes Hub and Rotors were equivalent to Wagner #60408. They were on the 71-74 Ambassador Javelin/AMX, 71-76 Hornet Matador and Gremlin. 71-76 Kelsey-Hayes Caliper Repair Kit was equivalent to Wagner #59177 (71-74 Ambassador Javelin and Matador, 71-76 Hornet, 72-76 Gremlin, 69-72 Chrysler, 70-72 Imperial, 70-72 Dodge Challenger Coronet Monaco Polara, 70-72 Plymouth Barracuda Belvedere Fury, 75-79 Cordoba, 77-79 LeBaron, 76-79 Aspen, 68-71 Thunderbird, 71-72 Lincoln, 69-71 Mark III, 68-72 Mercury. BENDIX 76 and newer--- Caliper Assy. Wagner 83280 & 83281 RH (74 Ambassador, 74-76 Hornet Gremlin, 74-78 Matador, 75-76 Pacer, 74-79 IH Scout, 77-78 Jeep CJ)[Caliper Kit Wagner #76092] OR Caliper Assy. Wagner 84065 & 84066 RH (77-78 Gremlin, 77 Hornet, 77-79 Pacer, 79 Spirit, or 78-79 Jeep CJ)[Caliper Kit Wagner #83611] The caliper kit was also used on 74 Charger & Coronet, 73-75 Dart, 75-79 Granada, 74-77 Maverick, 74-78 Mustang, 74-79 Pinto, and used on the rear of 76-78 Fords. Caliper Pistons were either Wagner #76021 (73-74 Ambassador, 74-76 Gremlin Hornet, 74-78 Matador, 75-76 Pacer, 73-78 Ford, 77-79 LTD II, 72-79 T-bird, 72-76 Torino, 74-79 IHC Scout, 77-78 Jeep CJ, 74-79 Cougar, and 73-78 Mercury) OR Wagner 76027 (78-79 Concord, 77-78 Gremlin, 77 Hornet, 77-79 Pacer, 79 Spirit, 75-79 Granada, 74-77 Maverick, 74-78 Mustang, 78-79 Jeep) This book also lists the hose interchanges and pad numbers as well as the brake torques and specifications for AMC 65-78. The book also lists master cylinders, their corresponding Wagner part numbers, repair kits, as well as other model cars that they were installed in.
