The window switches are the same as those used on 1979-1991 Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis (and other various Ford products), so you should be able to order them for this application and use them on your Jeep. Lock actuators are the same as those used in GM products from about the late 1970s-early 1990s. Go to the parts store and order a lock actuator for a mid-80s Cutlass/Regal/Monte Carlo, etc. and you should be in business. Replacements ?? (perhaps used WANTED) To: AMC-LIST <mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx>, greg_taylor@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Hi Everyone, I'm looking to replace the Switch assemblies in both front doors on my '89 GW. Does anyone know if there are aftermarket replacements available, or is this just a "dealer only" item? Also, they appear (from my foggy memory) to resemble the switches that were in Eagles (& other AMCs) with power windows & door locks. The physical switch has "Ford" and "Eaton" cast in the plastic housing (no luck with the ford dealer). I'd be interested in some GOOD WORKING used ones if someone has them and I can't get NEW ones for a decent price. Mine are currently "hit-n-miss" for operation and upon inspection are quite corroded (green). Thanks for the info! P.S. Same goes for power door lock actuator motors ... "dealer only" or is there an aftermarket one available? thanks! ===== Sincerely, Greg Taylor :) <>< Rochester Hills, Michigan USA
