Hmm... if this is loose-bound, what would copies & scans cost? If
someone's got an ADF scanner it would be a hell of a resource to
put on the net for free access.
Seriously.
If someone has an ADF scanner:
* I'll volunteer $20 for purchase of the book (someone else can
keep the book)
* AND volunteer to convert whatever format it's scanned in (TIFF,
GIF, etc) into G3-compressed PDFs, which are extremely compact for
black-and-white text and line drawings
* AND volunteer to put it up on the web for free forever if for
some reason amcyclopedia didn't. Or as a second copy
* AND I'll agree to complete the conversion within say 6 weeks of
getting the raw scans
* AND make some number CD-R copies available at no charge (except
copying and postage) to avoid pissing off the copyright holders
too much.
I'd like to see it made available.
PS: I have a decent single-sided xerox of the 1963 factory parts
catalog, which if someone's got an ADF (Automatic Document Feed)
scanner I'll loan to.
