RE:Cobra/AMX

Tom,I agree that at least it's out there dropping jaws no matter what the
engine,i'd just rather lift my hood to show what's not often seen,a rambler
motor kickin it.When i first got into these things some 15 years
ago,everyone said swap motors,put in a chebby,it'll run.I had a roomate
that wanted to sell me his 10 sec.small block gm,for practally free.It was a
really sweet motor, but looking back those 4 yrs ago,i'm glad my Sportabout
got the 360.I have shown again, and again what they don't see, a rusty AMC
powered car kickin their butts(sleeper style). When i pop the hood the
surprise comes followed by questions, which is followed by that person
leaving saying that an AMC can run well. They already know the small blocks
can do 14 flat, but ALOT of people seemed surprised, and pleased to see it
done ALL AMERICAN.Also i would trade you a rust free body for a motor
anyday.HA HA.We eastcoasters drool over the rust free shells we see, coming
from out west.I have motors coming out my you know what. Walter N.Y.
