It may sound silly, but how about we turn things around here a bit. I'm sure the AMC-list needs a bit of an upgrade and we know that stuff isn't free. How about we design a bumper sticker with say "Real American Made Cars www.amc-list.com " or similar. If not a bumper sticker, maybe an inside the window sticker? (external ones peel too quick) and sell them for $5 apiece with proceeds to go to upgrading the program so all can use it and a boost of the rest to the Charity AMX? It's just a thought that came to me when I was sort of thinking about how many cars we see in the wrecking yards have a LOT of parts already pulled from them. It means there is a HUGE amount of people out there that don't know about this list that could benefit from it (ideas for upgrades and fixing their cars, vendor hookups to get that one "part" no-one has that means fixing a daily driver or trailer queen to keep them from the scrapyard) When I go to the scrapyard, I notice people with Jeeps and at work as well. I always tell them about the various lists, but I was thinking about how when there is no-one there? Does anyone leave signs, stickers, fliers, or even this website written in the dust on the cars? Just a thought.
