RE:Wrist pins for AMC

Jim,

I can get the stock pins. However the machine shop will need to machine them to the correct length for locking devices. No one that makes pins will have a clue as to what type, or how many pin locking devices a person is going to use.

That I am aware of no one makes a piston for this application that is machined for ''floating pins''. So, the ONLY piston for the V8 that is NHRA accepted is the lone cast piece from Federal Mogal. And as I said it is not machined for floating pins.

I can fix you up with the raw material, i.e. stock wristpins, but the machine shop will need to make them fit and work as floaters.

Regards,

Randy Guynn
