If you let Chip Foose build a Gremlin it would look good, but it'd also have a Chevy crate engine in it, and a Mustang II front suspension if he could get it to fit (rails are to close together). Maybe a Chrysler engine, at least that would be sort of in the family. Hmmm... good place for a new Hemi, I guess most of you would tolerate that!! Columbo drove a BORGWARD convertible, but the year is about right -- 58-60. Chrysler sold the Omni/Horizon under the Simca name in France, and built it over there. Not sure if it was built there or here first, but it was built a bit longer over there. -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!)
