Not a Simca. Looks a bit like a Hillman. Don't know if they went stateside. That detetective in
the scruffy overcoat back then drove a Simca didn't he? Sold by Chrysler in Aust. The slogan
was "Some car this Simca" and many variations followed. Detective Colombo was the guy.

Same bookstore, couldn't resist -- two copies of a 1970
Chilton's manual for the Simca. Near-perfect condition; one
has slight cover dust staining from being on the shelf. Both
look like they were never even *looked at*. $8 each. They have
beautiful four-color plastic overlays of the engine, a nice
little 4-banger.
I've heard of them, might have seen one, no recollection. Looks
like a nice little econobox, might make a fun project car.

If anyone is absolutely dying for a Simca service manual,

let me know.
