Nah, nothing fishy about it. The original Javelin backup light must have been damaged, and the owner replaced it with one from an AMX. The only difference is the A-M-X lettering. The Javelin had no lettering. And thank you for noting the spelling. Nothing cracks me up more than seeing some AMC "expert" trying to sell his Donahue. I have responded to a couple of these over the years and asked them to take a closeup pic of the sticker on the rear spoiler so I could verify it was in fact one of those ellusive Don-A-hue Jevelins I had heard so much about over the years. Course I never got a reply. Some people might call me an ass for being so picky, I say I'm just a stickler for the details. I mean for the love of all that's sacred, the last name is spelled out right there in big bold letters on the rear spoiler D-O-N-O-H-U-E. Sheeeesh.... Now stepping down from my soapbox... Todd Former owner of a BBB 390/Auto Donohue that will be showing up at shows this summer with it's current owner (Carter Schmidt)in ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS restored condition). He did the car exactly as I would have, given the time and resources. -----Original Message----- From: mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, December 14, 2004 6:00 AM To: AMC LIst Subject: eBay Donohue, not Donahue There is a Donohue for sale on eBay and as I was looking through the posted pics, I noticed something unusual on one of the pics. On the rear shot where the car is on jackstands, the taillight panel says "AMX" on the backup light part of the panel. Is this standard on Donohues or is there something fishy going on here.
