Re: Eagle ANTI-sway bar

My '87 Limited Eaglewagon came with front anti-sway bar only. I scrounged a
rear one from Pick your part in Edmonton, and subsequently met Ken Ames on a
later visit. He informed me that as an option, the rear 'sway' bar was
paired with a LARGER FRONT BAR than on a front-only. So I watched 'til
another set showed up, and yes, definitely heftier on the front, so thanks,
Ken. That mismatch might cause some weird handling, so get the set, and the
rubbers. The rear option also has threaded inserts in the frame that may be
hard to duplicate. I haven't tried to knock the inserts out of a frame, yet,
not sure if they are welded or just blind rivet types. I am using long bolts
thru the frame for now, but I want to be careful not to tighten them so as
to distort the frame. One can be inventive here and do something better, I'm
sure.
