A: I'd suggest a blowtorch or flame thrower! <G> Razor knife, then exacto to 
trim the big chunks, and use tape remover on the glue. They put vinyl roofs 
on because of factory flaws, so I would look into something to put on 
afterwards. I used rubberized deck coating (same stuff they use now for 
bedliner only really thick) on my '73 Buick. Don't be surprised if you find 
a ton of rust too! I patched the holes in mine with fibreglass and used the 
coating stuff to hide it after. (Roof, not the floor! <G>)

I may buy a 73 Plymouth Fury and it has a ugly vinyl top and i hate them 
with a fiery passion So the question is how does one remove the offending 
vinyl top?any help on this would be greatly appreciated
