I'd try the AMC vendors first for two reasons. First, Kanter tends to price things like they're made of gold (they do carry some stuff that's hard to find elsewhere and some things are priced pretty reasonably) and secondly, it's better to support the AMC vendors when possible. I just checked my Kennedy American catalog and he lists the ball joints for $59.50 and has them fitting from 62-69 (which means they may also be something you can get at an auto parts store).
