Maybe that's why I soret of like the Musso's styling and it's real popular here in Korea (the only place they are sold AFAIK)?? The Korando is Jeep-like from the firewall back, but has a weird (to me) "stramlined" nose. It to is rather popular in Korea. So as long as they sell well who cares what some automotive journalist thinks? I think the Musso would sell well in the states also -- it's about the size of the XJ but sit higher (which makes it look a bit narrower, but I don't think it is). If there are no pics on the web I can take a couple and post somewhere. -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) For all AMC enthusiasts http//:farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!) -------------- Original message ---------------------- > AMC is still seen in Seoul --- almost 17 years after the last AMC vehicle > was made: > "The aging Ssangyong Musso utility vehicle looks like a reject from Dick > Teague's old studio at American Motors Corp.; adding a sport utility truck > variant with a tiny pickup bed did nothing to enhance the Musso's looks." > and > "The little Korando, a two-door Jeep Wrangler wanna-be, is so homely, it's > sort of cute."
