A: Somehow I missed the video the first time I looked at it (I was just a
LITTLE tired. I have a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder and 48 hours
before I had my MRI and 48 hours after I couldn't take any pain meds due to
the stuff they injected, so I overdid them a bit yesterday after work) It
looks like either the wires are incorrectly aligned (1-5-3-6-2-4 in the
rotation of the rotor as the motor spins) or you are 1 notch retarded (the
dist that is). Send a pic of the dist and I'll tell you roughly where you
should turn it to make it catch and run unless you know which way is
advance.
What happens is the motor starts spinning to catch, but the spark fires
so far after TDC that it actually ignites as the piston is coming up on the
exhaust stroke.
