Ok...but how come I cant move it again? If i try to turn the "key" at the top of the distributor it doesnt move with my power... so how did wigglin it out do it?

As below, most likley the oil pump moved while you were taking the old one out
or while you were putting the new one in.

flat section at the bottom) must line up. So, assuming nothing moves,
