RE: Woodward Dream Cruise Video

Don't know where you live Todd, but if you haven't been in person you need
to come! I've gone every year since it started, but live 7 miles away from
Woodward so it's pretty easy for me. Two years ago (blackout year) I was
headed past 14 mile and looked to my right, where else in the world could I
be driving a 1970 Mossport Green AMX and look over at a 1970 Mossport Green
AMX?? Both of us were floored. There are many sources for Woodward videos,
if you don't like the one you got you can certainly try again. There is a
store called AutoZone on Woodward that deals with diecast and books and
video, they would be an excellent source for getting a good one. My mom runs
technology for a local school, she's promised me access to a digital video
cam, the editing equipment and a DVD burner for some car video my buddies
and I want to shoot, maybe I'll throw together a Woodward DVD next year. Put
that high school video productions class to some use.

Subject: Woodward Dream Cruise Video

I finally received my video of the Woodward Dream Cruise. Very few AMC
vehicles shown; no surprise there. The biggest dissapointment was the
format. It was just a video of a TV station's coverage of the cruise. It
was just like watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, including all the

cheezy commentary. UGH! I don't care about the new civic center in
Ferndale, and I don't want to see coverage of the beautiful Royal Oak
neighborhood homes. I just want to see some cars!! I was so bummed by it
that I toyed with the idea of making my own video and selling it. I'm sure
that I could do a hell of a lot better but I'm just as sure that it is much
more work to turn out a good product than I realize.

Anyone care to comment.
