as saw someone else asking recently about installing the
bushings...
is the instalation of the MOOG ones the same as the polly ones?
and
how much better / why are they better?

-------------------------------------------------

The Moog are rubber and the Poly are a hard
Polyurethene material.

The rubber acts as a shock absorber that muffles
the road shock transfer to the chassis.

The Poly are much harder, deflect less during
high steering inputs, so they add a little more
of a control feeling when on the ragged edge -
but - the amount of road shock increase is
not worth the trade-off in a Street daily driver
vehicle.

Poly is good for racing - MOOG rubber replacements
are good for Daily Drivers.

Some people use the Poly in the upper control arms
and rubber in the lower.

Others use Poly in the lower control arm with rubber
in the upper control arms.

I don't want to 'hammer' my Uni-Body with an increased
shock value - so I'm staying with the MOOG rebuild.

You can run the Poly in the front and rear sway bars-
that should stiffen cornering capabilities considerably.
