The Pacer uses a GM rack. I'm sure one of the GM racks could be adapted to fit if it won't bolt up directly. Might have to fab or modify the mounts, but the column mount should be the same as well as tie rod ends. I forget if the Pacer is front steer or rear steer (rack in front or rear of crossmember). Front drive GM cars use a rear steer rack, I'm not sure if the F body (Camaro/Firebird) uses a front steer or not, think all Chevys are rear steer. You can adapt a Mustang II rack if you need a front steer. Speedway Motors (www.speedwaymotors.com) has several column adapters (couplers) and racks. That's where I purchased the coupler to use a late model T-bird rack on my 63 Rambler. -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) For all AMC enthusiasts http//:farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!)
