68 390 block iwth stock bore wanted

I am hoping to find someone with a stock 68 block that they are willing to
sell or trade. I have both 68 and 70 heads, a NOS stock 390 crank, NOS
stock 390 pistons and NOS stock 390 rods but do not have a 68 stock block.
The block I have was actually a factory crate replacement short block (which
actually had the 390 emblems ground off by the factory so they could use it
to replace any V-8 motor) but the previous owner decked the block to about
.007, drilled out the 5/16 head bolt holes to accommodate '70 1/2 head bolts
and replaced the stock pistons with TRW flat tops to create a hard core
racing motor. Thankfully, he kept and stored the stock pistons and rings
which he gave me when I bought the motor from him nearly 6 years ago. The
engine had been sitting for a while so I had it disassembled and tanked and
then crated up all the pieces and took them with me when I moved to Phoenix.

Bottom line is that although I have the NOS 390 block, it is really only
good for a racing application without the 390 casting numbers and having
been decked so I need a stock 68 block to put together a stock 390 motor for
my latest AMX project car which currently has a 360 rather than its original
390. If anyone has an unmolested stock 68 block and would like to sell it
please contact me. Also, if you are interested in trading, I have a couple
of sets of 291C heads, 68 and 70 torker intakes, 4 speed and bellhousing
setups, a drag strip setup 456 rear end complete with welded axle tubes,
both style exhaust port headers, 550-780 Holley carbs, a perfect 68-70 front
driver's front fender complete with fender extension and J chrome, perfect
68-70 driver's door with remote mirror and a perfect 68-70 trunk plus lots
of other odds and ends.

Please contact me at d.curtis@xxxxxxx if you have a block you think I might
be interested in. I am not looking to part with any of my other parts
unless it is to trade for the block...thanks.
