The X gremlin pak covered badges, interior upgrade appointments, handling pak, and anything you cared to order since this is the one model that you could get the upgrades with in an overall package. You can certainly 'clone' yourself an X - as many AMC owners have and are still doing. Good luck finding the 1978 Gremlin X Flares and Air dam kit. Once you've surfed the Gremlin sites on-line, you'll have a better understanding of what the offerings by year were. The Interior choices can be re-created since there are one or two excellent sources for Original AMC interior cloths - even the much Vaunted Levi's Gremlin cloth. I'm thinking of RETRO for my EAGLE series 50 make-over. Some HUDSON hood lettering, perhaps the Twin H Power script, and of course that wonderful HOLLYWOOD trim script for the doors and dash with the added - X - designate, just to bring back that taste of yester-year Bravado. If I could get a 1949 or 50 HUDSON Dashboard to fit - I would have that in a heart-beat. When it comes to AMC, hey....... it's all in the Family :} Acquire - Mutate - Correlate! Brien. NEW YORK
