When I screwed up the crossmember and oil pan on my Spirit's 258 last year (thank you Asheville, NC!) the crossmember was pushed back up and into the oil pan, causing a slight fracture in the pan that seeped oil. While I had the crossmember out to replace it, I went ahead and dropped the oil pan so I could straighten out the dents and while I was at it I used some JB Weld to coat the leaky area inside the oil pan. Let it cure fully, slapped it all back together, it hasn't leaked a drop since!
