$90 is a great price! I've seen them for $125. The only other thing you can do is buy a universal sending unit of thr correct ohm range (60s/70s Ford) nad modify it to fit. I did that and it isn't hard, but does take a bit of work. I think you could do it easily -- order the unit from JCW for about $40 (shipping and all) and take a couple hours to do the work and test. Or get the factory replacement and drop right in. On September 21, 2004 Mark Price wrote: > I checked UPS's site today and my Advance Adapters CPS kit is supposed to be here today. I can't wait to get a Big hammer and drive that new damper on! O.K. Calm down, just kidding I have a Snapon installer and have no intention of hammering on anything on this car ever again[ I hope]. I'm hoping the CPS kit installs as easy as I've read from some people who have used them. I know I could do it cheaper, but at this point if it'll get me close to getting this running I'm going that way! > Who knows the best source for a replacement fuel tank sending unit for the American?
