I could use some help,
if your AMX or Javelin has torque links, I need a photo of the inside of the
frame rail where the torque link bolts to
the bracket. Not the side with the bracket, but the side that faces toward
the center of the car.
Does this side of the frame rail have a cover plate that is screwed to the
frame rail??
How are the nuts attached to the inside of the frame rail where the front
bracket bolts to the frame rail.
I found a few photos on the web but none show this detail.
I found a pdf with an exploded view of the torque link parts. This view
shows a plate with nuts welded to it that sits on the inside of the frame
rail that the bracket bolts to, and a plate that appears to cover the
opening in the frame rail that allows access to the plate with the nuts
welded to it.
Any photos with detail of the torque link installation will be appreciated.
Thanks for your help,
Please send to my home email,
