A full length run of fuel hose is not a good idea. If you can get the
factory line off without destroying it, places like Inline Tube can make
a new one.
As far as ethanol damaging fuel hose, that's total BS for any fuel hose
made in the last 30 years (if yours is older, replace it now). We got
ethanol in our gas in the late 70's and it hasn't caused any damage to
anything. It will break down some gunk that has formed in the fuel
system (cleaning the gas tank and rebuilding the carb will fix that) but
it really isn't the problem some people think it is.

me personally, i would run new aluminum or steel lines. some of these
rubber
lines (i have had problems with brand new ones lately) dont like this
ethenal
fuel. my state just made 10% across everything. i hate it. also, the metal
lines will be tougher when it comes to any road debris. you can just
take off
your old line, and get some of that soft flex metal line, and make it just
like the old one. thats what i did on my 62 classic.
