works great incase no one else has tried it. havent heard anyone talk about it. got some small parts (bearings, bearing retainers ect) for my 1950 schwinn im rebuilding that had that old 58 year old grease all gummed up in and nasty. had me an old paint can, and a little can with holes in the bottom of it, and a handle on top to set parts in and submerge, and get out without getting my hands in the stuff. filled the paint can with 50/50 water and castrol super clean purple degreaser. dropped all that in the paint can, submerged parts in solution. cranked stove on high to get boiling, turned down to keep just under boiling. had it on there for about 30 min. parts came out, and wiped off with no problem. all look brand new. amc content: just figured out how to get my rocker arms, bolts, ect clean when i build my next motor... hehe. dave stohler my rambler pics@ http://picasaweb.google.com/das24rules _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
