I recently had to replace the cam on my 1979 Dodge pickup.  The 
"Help" brand replacement had contacts that were too long; I had to 
cut them down with a Dremel tool to match the originals.  It seemed 
that there was also too much pressure on the switch contacts, so I 
had to take it apart a couple weeks later, bend the cam wires a bit 
flatter, and repair where one had dug into the switch base (melted 
some plastic from the old cam into the base where the cam wire had 
dug in).  Works great now.  These parts seem to be no longer 
available from Mopar.
I found an outfit called Shee-Mar in Colorado that lists quite a few 
turn signal switches.  This one is supposed to fit 1964-72 Mopar 
products without tilt, and without four-way flasher or cornering
