258 water pump question

Hi gang
I am trying to put an electric radiator fan in the 1973 258. My water 
pump shaft is in the way. It is quite long and in stock form, it has the 
fan blades mounted to the front of it along with a cone shaped spacer 
which goes back towards the motor and has a V-belt pulley on it. Is 
there a short shaft version of this water pump/pulley combination that I 
can use that will give me more clearance?
