74 Jav elec problems

I was getting ready to have the car inspected and
noticed the parking brake warning light was not on.  I
searched around the parking brake pedal and couldn't
find any switch or even wires in the area.  Anyone
give a description of the location of the switch (TSM
doesn't mention the switch in the elec or brake
section.  All I could find was a listing on the
picture of the wire harness.

Second problem:  Turned on the panel/guage lights and
they didn't work (except for the heater controls).  I
then noticed the tach wasn't working.  Turned the
panel lights switch off and the tach started working
again!  I have an MSD Ready to Run distrib and Blaster
Coil with the MSD supplied in-line capacitor
installed.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.
