steering box

I need to change the steering box on my 82 Eagle SX/4 with power steering
and the I6.  Does anyone know if this is a variable ratio box or constant
ratio box?  How can I tell the difference so I can order the right one? 
Can I just order the variable ratio box and have it fit?
