Vehicle ID Numbers

Yes, but its not easy to have that info when looking through junk yards, The 
books give all the Body Number Plate info for each vehicle, 
Body-Model-Trim-Paint, the books go through trim codes for each 
veh=Cloth-Vinyl-Lether and the paint code/colors.  Most only cost $10 to 
$20.00, Used/New.

You can find most of the AMC info in one of those books at 
www.amcyclopedia.org. The site will have a bit more for some models. The 
only thing not on there is all the paint codes, but I don't think that's in 
the American Car ID Numbers books either.
