 My understanding from the Pacer list is that the base
 unit is the same, but the ends are specifically AMC
and WELDED onto the unit. I'm going by memory here, so
don't quote me. But you won't be able to buy a GM unit
and make a few "simple" mods to make it work, sorry.
Not that easy. Unless you're a metal fabricator. :)
