Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't AMC do a lot of the AMX III work 
over in Italy, including production of body parts?  In any case, this is 
not a word, nor is it a place in Italy, so it's probably a last name.  I 
don't have much AMX III info, but surely one of the experts on the list 
can look and see if this guy was a designer or had something to do with 
the project.
